Beauty-appliance brand LINKA gets a showcase inside Daimaru Tokyo's experimental 'asumise' floor
Home beauty-appliance maker Ibivivid takes its LINKA brand into Daimaru Tokyo's 9th-floor asumise concept floor from October 21, the latest domestic brand to use J. Front's experimental space to reach department-store foot traffic without a permanent contract.

Ibivivid Inc., the Koganei, Tokyo-based maker of home beauty appliances, said its LINKA brand will take a showcase inside Daimaru Tokyo's 9th-floor "asumise" experiential concept floor from October 21, 2026, according to a company release marking the company's 13th year.
Asumise, run by Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Stores, bills itself as a space built around "meeting" products rather than simply buying them, rotating in seasonal cafés, events and brand installations. LINKA, made by a salon-equipment manufacturer, will display its Crystal Mist airbrush skincare device (¥9,900) and its Sleek-On cordless heated styling brush (¥7,700), a 135-gram tool with three heat settings for touching up bangs and hair ends, with staff on hand to explain the products in person, the company said.
The showcase lands days after floortok reported that Daimaru Matsuzakaya is turning asumise's own visitor data into a dashboard it sells to the brands that use the floor -- together, the two releases describe the same mechanism from opposite sides: a smaller domestic appliance maker gets hands-on exposure to department-store traffic without a permanent contract, and the department store gets a paying service business out of hosting it.
