Mitsui Fudosan breaks ground on its first Gifu hotel, a 187-room Mitsui Garden property in Takayama
Mitsui Fudosan is building its first Mitsui Garden Hotel in Gifu Prefecture, two minutes from Takayama's station -- a 187-room bet on a small city that is one of Japan's busiest inbound-tourism gateways.
Mitsui Fudosan said it has broken ground on a Mitsui Garden Hotels property in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture -- the brand's first hotel in the prefecture -- with completion targeted for early 2029, the developer said in a release dated October 26.
