Afternoon Tea LIVING brings Seoul's WARMGREY TAIL to Fukuoka, with a Japan-first glass
Afternoon Tea LIVING is giving Seoul brand WARMGREY TAIL's Japan-first glass its debut at a Fukuoka station-building pop-up, not a Tokyo flagship.

Afternoon Tea LIVING, the homeware chain operated by ICL Inc., is running a pop-up for the Seoul illustration brand WARMGREY TAIL at Amu Plaza Hakata in Fukuoka from November 2 to 8, the company said in a release. The shop runs 10am to 8pm daily on the sixth floor, with some time slots reservation-only.
WARMGREY TAIL, founded in Seoul in 2015 by illustrator Kim Han-gol and art director Lee Hyo-na, will sell towels, rugs and its 'Bunny Bunny' bag and blanket line at the pop-up, alongside a new drinking glass -- priced at 2,860 yen tax included -- that the brand is releasing in Japan for the first time, ICL said. Shoppers who spend 3,300 yen or 5,500 yen qualify for threshold gifts.
Giving a Seoul brand's Japan-first item to a Fukuoka pop-up rather than Tokyo is itself a small statement: Afternoon Tea LIVING is treating Amu Plaza Hakata, the station-building mall beside Hakata Station, as a destination in its own right rather than a stop on the way to the capital. It is the kind of regional pop-up calendar the desk tracks moving through Hankyu, Hanshin and Daimaru as much as it runs through Shinjuku or Ginza.
