AMI Paris reopens its Ginza Six boutique with a redesign and a store-exclusive capsule
AMI Paris has reopened its Ginza Six boutique with a redesigned interior and a store-exclusive capsule — a small but real data point on tenant investment at one of Ginza's flagship malls.

AMI Paris has reopened its Ginza Six boutique in a redesigned space, the French contemporary fashion house's Japan operation said in a release. The store — 56 square metres on the mall's third floor, open since 2022 — reopened on 29 July with an interior the company said draws on "elegant Parisian apartments," featuring beige lime-washed walls, oak panelling and parquet flooring, champagne-gold fixtures and stone shelving, with the checkout counter folded into the layout rather than set apart.
To mark the renewal, AMI Paris is selling two Ginza Six-exclusive pieces carrying the label's "Don't Forget to Love" motif — a sweatshirt priced at ¥71,500 and a T-shirt at ¥41,800 — and offering a limited-run tote bag to customers who spend ¥110,000 or more, while stock lasts.
It is a modest item next to the season's bigger luxury and mall stories, but modest renewals like this one are where floor churn in Ginza's showcase malls actually happens: a contemporary house refreshing its space and adding exclusives to justify the rent on a well-trafficked third floor, rather than any tenant turning over. For a mall like Ginza Six, where the anchor luxury floors get most of the attention, that kind of quiet reinvestment by mid-tier contemporary labels is as good a sign of footfall confidence as any headline opening.
