Yohji Yamamoto's LIMI feu reopens its Isetan Shinjuku corner with a punk-inspired redesign

Yohji Yamamoto's fashion house has reopened the Isetan Shinjuku corner of its label LIMI feu in a new pink-and-silver lattice design, the same day and on the same floor as GANNI's new fourth Japan store nearby.

Yohji Yamamoto Co., Ltd. reopened the Isetan Shinjuku corner of its label LIMI feu on 2 September, in the main building's second-floor "TOKYO Closet" section, according to the company's own announcement. The new space uses a pink lattice grid with silver accents that the release describes as "punk," replacing the corner's previous look, and was designed for the brand by Satomi Yamamoto.

The renewed corner carries part of LIMI feu's autumn/winter 2026-27 collection early, including Isetan-exclusive versions of a check shirt (¥79,200) and a long check shirt (¥96,800), plus a check skirt (¥70,400) exclusive to Mitsukoshi Isetan stores. Customers spending ¥33,000 or more receive an original tote bag while supplies last, the company said.

The renewal lands on the same floor and the same day as GANNI's new fourth Japan store nearby, a small but visible sign of how actively Isetan Shinjuku's second floor churns its tenant mix — a floor the department store treats as a live testing ground for which contemporary and designer labels earn permanent space.
