Baycrew's opens JOURNAL STANDARD and NOBLE together in a new Okayama mall

Baycrew's Group is opening two of its house labels, JOURNAL STANDARD and NOBLE, on the same day at Okayama Ichibangai — a small but real piece of the Tokyo select-shop group's continuing push into regional Japan.

Baycrew's Group will open JOURNAL STANDARD and NOBLE together at Okayama Ichibangai on September 18, the company said, adding two of its house labels to the mall on the same day.

JOURNAL STANDARD opens on the mall's basement first floor (B1F), the company said, describing its edit as basic, standard pieces mixed with seasonal and directly sourced domestic and international brands, without a fixed product category. NOBLE opens one level below on B2F, positioned around simple, feminine daily wear, according to Baycrew's.

Pairing two labels in one opening lets Baycrew's cover a broader wardrobe range within a single regional mall commitment than either brand alone would — a way to test a secondary-city location before deciding whether it merits a larger footprint.
