PARCELLE Jewelry books a week of Isetan Shinjuku's ground floor for a one-of-a-kind ring collection
PARCELLE Jewelry, a young Tokyo fine-jewellery house, has won a week of Isetan Shinjuku's ground-floor promotion space for a one-of-a-kind pavé diamond ring line, a small but telling read on which independent Japanese jewellers are landing the department store's most contested floor real estate.

PARCELLE Jewelry will run a limited shop at Isetan Shinjuku's main building, in the first-floor promotion space known as Promotion Space 2, from 30 September to 6 October, the brand's operator, PARCELLE Corporation, said on 23 September.
The centrepiece is MIRA, a new pavé ring set with multi-coloured diamonds across its face and both shoulders, of which the brand is showing eight pieces. PARCELLE said every item it makes is one-of-a-kind, with the stone placement and selection varying piece to piece, and the Isetan shop will also carry signature designs from the brand's early years, new seasonal pieces and semi-custom orders built around client-chosen stones, with a turnaround of up to three months.
PARCELLE, led by chief executive Kotoe Shinada, is a relatively young Tokyo fine-jewellery house rather than an established maison, and a week's booking of Isetan Shinjuku's ground-floor promotion space puts it on the same floor real estate the department store typically reserves for higher-turnover, higher-visibility brand activations.
For floortok, the booking matters more as a floor-plan signal than as a product launch: a department store's ground-floor promotion space is contested, short-let real estate, and handing a full week of it to an independent Japanese jewellery label is a bet that one-of-a-kind, higher-price pieces can pull the kind of footfall Isetan usually reserves for bigger names. If the pavé collection sells through, it strengthens the case for domestic fine-jewellery houses to keep winning that event-space slot over rotating watch or accessory promotions.
