Fendi brings a Japan-only bag colourway and in-store monogramming to Isetan Shinjuku
Fendi is pairing a Japan-exclusive beige bag with on-site embroidery and foil-stamping at an Isetan Shinjuku pop-up next month, a personalisation push that lands the same week the maison put a K-pop star in front of a different bag entirely.

Fendi is bringing a Japan-exclusive bag colourway to Isetan Shinjuku for a week-long autumn/winter 2026 pop-up, running 2 to 8 September at The Stage, the store's first-floor event space, according to Isetan Mitsukoshi's own listing for the event.
The centrepiece is a pre-sale of the Fendi Magic bag in a beige colourway made specifically for the Japan market. Alongside it, the pop-up offers on-site personalisation — embroidery and foil-stamping — for both Fendi Magic and the maison's My Peekaboo line, letting shoppers monogram a bag rather than buy it as it comes off the shelf.
The pop-up lands the same week Fendi Japan put out a separate campaign, unrelated to the Isetan event: a video for its Baguette bag naming TWICE member Mina as the brand's Japan ambassador, the company said in its own statement on PR TIMES on 24 August. Mina does not feature in the Isetan pop-up, which is built entirely around Fendi Magic and My Peekaboo.
The two moves lean on different levers at once. An ambassador campaign sells a bag through a face; a Japan-only colourway plus in-store monogramming sells a reason to be at one specific counter on one specific week, and turns a bag purchase into something made to order rather than off the shelf — the kind of dwell-time-extending ritual department stores and maisons increasingly reach for together as more browsing, and buying, of ready-made product moves online.
Isetan has not said how many personalisation slots the week will hold, so the real test of demand will be how quickly the beige Fendi Magic itself sells out.
