Pre-owned luxury reseller Gallery Rare reopens its renovated Ginza flagship
Gallery Rare, the pre-owned luxury reseller run by TSE Prime-listed Auknet's Circluxe subsidiary, has reopened the sales floors of its Ginza main store after a renovation — a bet on secondhand bags, watches and jewelry as a category worth investing storefront money in on one of Tokyo's most expensive shopping streets.

Gallery Rare (ギャラリーレア), the pre-owned luxury goods retailer operated by Circluxe Corporation, has reopened the first- and second-floor sales areas of its Ginza main store following a renovation, the company said in a release. The buying counter on the basement floor had already reopened on 3 August; the sales floors followed on 3 September at 11:30am. The store sits at 5-5-9 Ginza, Chuo Ward, near exit B3 of Ginza Station, and carries high-end bags, watches, jewelry and apparel.
Circluxe is a subsidiary of Auknet Corporation, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime market (ticker 3964). To mark the reopening, the company is running commemorative promotions through 30 September, including a raffle for Hermès items for purchases or sales over ¥5,000 and threshold-based novelty gifts, the release said.
A renovated main-store floor is a small data point on its own, but it lands inside a broader pattern: Japan's secondhand luxury market has kept growing as buyers weigh authenticated pre-owned bags and watches against new prices that have climbed with a weaker yen and repeated maison price rises, while some sellers cash out pieces bought during the recent resale boom. Putting fresh capital into a Ginza storefront — rather than treating resale as an online-only or suburban business — signals that Circluxe sees walk-in traffic on Tokyo's most expensive retail street as still worth competing for, on the same block as the primary-market boutiques the reseller's inventory ultimately depends on.
