Haneda's rotating pop-up slot turns over to two character-goods tenants
Two character-merchandise pop-ups are sharing Haneda's dedicated rotating retail slot through September, the terminal's routine, low-risk answer to a fixed but flexible unit of floor space.

Two character-merchandise pop-ups have taken over Haneda's dedicated rotating retail unit, "HANEDA POPUP STORE," in Terminal 1's second-floor departure lobby, according to Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. (JAT). Both run from August 18 to September 28, 9am to 7pm (6pm on the final day).
"Chiikawa Baby POP UP SHOP" sells a baby spin-off line from the SNS-born character series Chiikawa: swaddled-character chopstick rests (¥990 each), a crawling-figure collection sold single (¥1,540) or as a box of eight (¥12,320), and crawling plush toys (¥1,980 each). Alongside it, "GPSBOX & Kiramekko POPUP STORE," run by licensee Gray Parker Service, sells four Chiikawa x Sanrio plush charms (¥2,420 each), a three-design mofusand x Ultraman line (¥2,420 each, or ¥7,260 boxed), and two eight-design figure sets, priced from ¥1,320 to ¥1,760 singly or up to ¥14,080 boxed.
It is a small, routine changeover, but the slot itself is the point: JAT keeps rotating character-goods tenants through the same fixed unit for runs of a few weeks at a time, a low-commitment way to test licensed-merchandise demand against Terminal 1's departure-lobby traffic. That is a different bet from the one JAT has just made in the same departure lobby, where Disney Store's own pop-up has taken a six-month lease on the floor — the flexible slot and the long one, running through the same terminal at once.
