Hankyu Umeda gathers about 40 organic and wellness brands for a five-day fair
Hankyu Hanshin will bring roughly 40 organic and wellness brands to its Umeda flagship's ninth floor for five days in September, curated by its Biople concept around skincare, supplements and specialty food.

Hankyu Hanshin Department Stores will hold "Biople FES OSAKA 2026" from 16 to 20 September, closing at 6pm on the final day, on the ninth floor of its Umeda main store, gathering about 40 organic and wellness brands curated by its Biople concept, the company said in a release.
The line-up spans inner-care items such as supplements, enzymes and fermented drinks; specialty breads and food; skincare and cosmetics; body care; and sleep goods, according to Hankyu Hanshin. The company named several participating brands, including Bio-Normalizer, Lypo-C, Manda Koji and the sleep-goods maker Brain Sleep, alongside a run of talk sessions that require no reservation, plus sampling and a prize draw.
A five-day, single-floor fair built entirely from outside brands is a Product move dressed as an event: Hankyu isn't developing anything new here, it's using Biople's own curatorial eye to bring in a tighter, trend-forward edit of niche wellness names than any single department normally carries, then giving it a week's worth of Promotion — talks, sampling, a draw — to justify the floor space. It is a low-risk way to test whether brands too small to hold a permanent counter can pull traffic on their own, before any of them earns one.
