sacai relocates its Isetan Shinjuku menswear corner into a combined store

sacai opens a new store today on the third floor of Isetan Shinjuku's Main Building, combining its men's and women's collections under one roof at the department store for the first time, according to the brand's own announcement.

The store replaces sacai's corner in the Men's Building, which closed on July 21; the brand operated temporary spaces within the Men's Building through early September while the new location was being prepared, it said.

Folding a separate menswear corner into one combined store mirrors a broader shift among contemporary Japanese labels at department stores toward consolidating men's and women's under a single, larger footprint rather than running them as separate concessions — giving one edit more space and letting the brand present its full range to whichever customer walks in.
