Shinjuku Takashimaya, which opened on October 4, 1996, is running an expanded "Bimi Collection" gourmet festival on its 11th-floor event space from September 10 to 23 ahead of its 30th anniversary, the store said in a statement. The festival groups a rotating cast of limited-run items with a dedicated week for Amazon cacao, a rare ingredient the release describes as fruity and richly aromatic.

The store has also brought in three food-focused social media personalities for a companion "gourmet festival," with capped-quantity collaborations that change weekly: a souffle omelette sandwich (¥1,980, 30 servings a day) and a duck-oil mixed noodle dish (¥2,300, 400 servings) in the first week, followed by a Sasebo burger (¥2,800, 20 servings) and a Taiwan-style ramen with thick-cut chashu (¥1,600, 150 servings) in the second, according to the announcement.

A 30th-anniversary tie-in that leans on food rather than fashion or interiors fits Shinjuku Takashimaya's position: its Times Square building sits above one of Tokyo's busiest station complexes, where a capped-quantity lunch item draws same-day foot traffic more reliably than a fixed exhibition would.
