MTG puts SIXPAD wellness gear into a two-week pop-up at Estnation's Roppongi Hills store

MTG is placing its SIXPAD EMS and recovery range into a two-week pop-up at Estnation's Roppongi Hills store from 15-28 September — a Nagoya wellness-hardware maker buying into premium select-shop floor space rather than its own retail network.

MTG Co., Ltd. is running a two-week pop-up store for its SIXPAD wellness-hardware brand inside Estnation's Roppongi Hills store, from 15 to 28 September, the Nagoya-based company said. The pop-up takes space on the first and second floors of the Hillside Keyakizaka complex in Roppongi, Minato Ward, according to MTG.

The pop-up carries SIXPAD's EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) devices, including the Core Belt 2, Medical Core, Foot Fit 3, Leg Belt 2, Hand Pulse, Core Hip and Perine Fit, alongside its Power Gun Active and Power Gun Pocket massage guns and Recovery Wear Sleep, a sleepwear line the company markets under the tagline “recover simply by wearing it to sleep,” MTG said.

Estnation's Roppongi Hills store is a fashion-led multi-brand retailer, not a wellness or electronics specialist, and the pop-up puts MTG's hardware line on a sales floor built around apparel and lifestyle goods rather than a fitness-equipment aisle or MTG's own stores. For a Japanese hardware brand, that is a bet that wellness devices now read as lifestyle merchandise to the kind of shopper who buys at a premium select shop — worth testing on a two-week run before committing to it as a standing category.
