Creed opens a full-range men's shop at Hankyu Men's Tokyo, its second Japan retail move this month
House of Creed is opening a full-range men's shop at Hankyu Men's Tokyo on October 2, its second Japan retail move this month after a standalone flagship boutique at Roppongi Hills, testing a department-store floor presence and a destination boutique side by side.

Hankyu Hanshin Department Stores said House of Creed will open a shop carrying its full assortment — fragrance, body care and home — on the men's beauty floor of Hankyu Men's Tokyo on October 2, according to a release dated September 30.
The British fragrance house, which traces its founding to 1760 and describes its style as merging English tailoring with French savoir-faire, will anchor the opening around its best-known scent, Aventus, alongside a newly introduced fragrance, Iris Debonnaire. To mark the launch, the shop is selling an Aventus Special Kit — a 50ml eau de parfum with a refillable black travel atomiser and a branded luggage tag — for ¥55,990, and customers spending ¥55,000 or more in-store receive a complimentary Inspiration Kit while supplies last, Hankyu Hanshin said. The shop occupies the first floor of Hankyu Men's Tokyo, the group's dedicated menswear department store in Yurakucho.
The opening comes a week after Creed's first Japan flagship boutique opened at Roppongi Hills Hillside on September 25, run by Kawabe Corporation and anchored by a ¥226,600 store-exclusive Absolu Aventus bottle, according to a separate release from Kawabe. That boutique is a standalone destination aimed at serious collectors; the Hankyu shop is a different bet — a full-range counter built into an existing department-store menswear beauty floor, the format retailers use to test whether a niche maison can draw passing footfall rather than only a dedicated visit. Running both within the same month shows Creed testing two different Japan retail formats at once, rather than choosing between them.
