Valentino turns its Ginza Six flagship into a summer 'Rockstud Salon'
A seven-week in-store event puts a fresh edit of Rockstud pumps, sandals and studded accessories on the shop floor at Valentino Ginza — a low-cost way to keep a flagship newsy between full renovations.

Valentino has opened a summer pop-in dedicated to its Rockstud line at Valentino Ginza, the maison's flagship inside GINZA SIX, according to a press release from Valentino Japan. The 'Rockstud Salon' runs from 23 July to 7 September, with the store keeping its normal 10:30-20:30 hours.
The edit centres on a new Rockstud pump priced at ¥181,500, alongside strap sandals in black, red, pink and yellow and a run of studded accessories drawn from the house's 2026 Pre-Fall collection, all under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele.
A dedicated in-store moment like this is a cheap way to keep a flagship feeling current between full renovations — no construction, no lease renegotiation, just a new edit and a fresh window. For a house whose creative direction changed as recently as Michele's arrival, building it around Rockstud, Valentino's best-known signature, is also a low-risk way to reintroduce the line to Tokyo shoppers under his read of the house rather than launching an unfamiliar new statement piece.
